"How can you reconcile your actions with Dharma (integrity)?"
Mother Meena Ma drove from town to town, from office to office - from the last one back to the first one. Flew from Kerala to Delhi to receive there the invitation of the German consul of Kerala and Karnataka - and then She flew the whole way back to Trivandrum to meet the consul in Kovalam/Kerala.

"An almost supernatural quest: So many discussions and fights in order to be heard by the highest positions. Exhausting negotiations, long taxi-tours, bumpy roads, heat and health problems.
And always it was necessary to raise my voice and say: We have only come out of love, we are here to help your country! And how are you treating us? When companies give money you do anything, but when people come to do good, to help? We do charity work!"

In the offices mostly there were about 9-10 people surrounding Mother and they went silent listening to Mother's words, talking about their holy land of Kerala and the old, traditional values
PREMA, SATHYA, DHARMA, SHANTI, AHIMSA (Love, Truth, Righteousness, Peacefulness, Non-Violence) and about the realization of those values.

"Endurance - born out of Love -that is what they have experienced from us: consistently knocking at office doors in order to bring forward the issue, not giving up - not allowing to be rejected.
India is the land of the pilgrim places: People pilgrim to the holy places to offer sacrifice. But not everybody lives those values of LOVE, TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACEFULNESS, NON-VIOLENCE in everyday life."

Corruption, bribery - that is oftentimes the Indian way of life. What huge amount of work is waiting to be done by the Mother and her PREMA=LOVE in order to make them see the inner values!

What are all the difficulties which the Mother has had to deal with as a "Warrior of Dharma" - we reported about it in the yearly letter of 2005

Led through many DIVINE blessed visions and signs - again during this journey - in Dec. 2003 Mother Meena Ma purchased a 4.000 sqm land in Thalikulam/Kerala located at the Malabar coast to build the foster home. (look at "Journey Report about establishing a foster home in India", 2004).
Since 2006 the Meena Ma Shanti Trust has officially been accepted by the local tax administration in Thrissur as a charity foundation.
So far one wall with entry gates around the land and also a water pump to water the trees were build.
Every year we paid our property taxes and therefore received our ,,possession certificate".

This year they tightened the law: Trustees - members of a foundation - have to be Indians. If foreigners are involved in land possession new tight obligations were created. Although this law does not concern our Indian foundation as land holders, the public authorities adhere to it. Result: no possession certificate"! No start of construction without this paper ... !

Now then - here was Mother who had come with the first donation money to open the start of construction! The only possibility as it seems to get this certificate: ,,Bribe" - as it is common in India -, a really huge sum. Dharma! Mother Meena Ma has a Divine mission! Only the honest way is to be carried out.

Mother wrote to high public officers, among those the German ambassador in Delhi and the German consul in Bangalore. The general consul of Kerala and Karnataka finally gave his lovable help and wrote two insistent letters - supporting our project - to officials in Kerala. Because this was not enough, Mother sent a letter to the interior minister of Kerala whom she had addressed at an event ,,Opening To All Religions" in Thalikulam explaining to him the problem of the possession certificate being refused.

Now the only way seems to be unavoidable: carrying out the lawsuit as a test case before the ,,High Court" in Kerala.
Two foreign companies have joined as complainants. The date is in 3rd week of January 2009. Mother is represented through a well-known lawyer of the ,,High Court" in Cochin.

A second issue which Mother has to struggle through concerns the import of foreign donations for accomplishing the construction and later the support of the foster home.
Again bribing? No - "Abode of Light" can only be built on the basis of integrity and honesty!!!

"Abode of Light" - a place of Peace, Love, Healing, which also means Reconciliation! Mother succeeded in hindering an Indian in his judicial complaint against Sabriye Tenberken. Sabriye is a blind German woman who has built a centre for blind people in Kerala. The wall of the centre disturbed this Indian neighbour. Helpers who were led to Mother belong to all religions; therefore Reconciliation of Religions is also a huge task! ,,Abode of Light" is surrounded by a Hinduistic temple and a Mosque. It is most important to Mother that there are no religious dogmas!

HEALING - people who know Mother know it for sure that many stories may be told! One stands for all: An Indian woman, mentally sick, not out of the house for 4 years, went into the garden looking at the plants only a few days after the healing treatment of Mother.
On her departure day Mother gave her a 2nd treatment. This Darshan was so intense and powerful that the woman collapsed (Darshan visitors know that some people experience trance-like conditions while receiving the blessing). Out of the grace of Mother the woman is being given back to life! Jai - in Honour of God!

The delay of construction is very much regrettable: Very likely Mother may have to travel back to Kerala in February/March or October/November2010.

However the delay should also be seen as being helpful because it enables us to move on with
- Mother's appeal for fund - a sum of € 180.000 is required - brought about the wonderful sum of € 20.000 -, and Mother thanks all building-block-dona tors from the bottom of her heart!
To finish the task, however, She needs further big and essential help and asks for your loving support!
Wholeheartedly She asks you to help her and the Indian children!

- The various and troublesome bureaucratic visits and proceedings and also contacts with very important people in Kerala have had a big meaning: the Meena Ma Shanti Trust has become known! When the case is won at the ,,High Court", no Indian public office will be in the way anymore!
"Only in this way the Meena Ma Shanti Trust has experienced such a degree of being known, You are known now By many people" - unanimous opinion of all Mother's helpers in Kerala!
